The Clinical Software Test Engineer is responsible for crafting detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications executes these tests and meticulously documents the results to ensure thorough coverage and accuracy. The role develops comprehensive clinical workflow test plans outlining the scope objectives resources and schedule for testing activities ensuring alignment with project requirements and goals to facilitate effective testing processes and outcomes. The role utilizes analytical skills to resolve medium-complexity requests efficiently exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. The role coaches new joiners and exerts influence within team - local lab/product.
Your Role:
Understands and explains the development team about features from Clinical use and relevance from end customer perspective
Validates the feature under development from end-customer setup
Takes part in internal/external clinical studies
Plays clinical Testing Engineer to fully test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the Clinical business needs.
Supports PO in understanding workflow and details of the feature
Testing all aspects of the product/system like functional/component system performance regression and service.
Setting up of test environments designing test plans developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people
Provides test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level
Reviews (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability
Consults within scrum or other teams on test planning and participates for example in scrum team testing planning and demo activities
Performs image quality assessment as part of image optimization activities by comparing with our & competition products
Educates development engineering community the expectation of the feature from clinical domain.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Performs software Clinical testing (manual) within the systems/agile/scrum team throughout the whole development cycle ensuring built-in quality.

Reviews (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability.
Consults within scrum or other teams on test planning and participates for example in scrum team testing planning and demo activities.
Conducts functional and performance load and reliability testing.
Documents test plans protocols and reports.
Supports design changes for quality impact.
To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Clinical validation.
Strong understanding on human anatomy various measurements/calculations/modes and competition knowledge.
Testing all aspects of the product/system like functional /component system performance regression and service.
Work with feature teams to identify and capture test cases ensure version management.
Setting up of test environments designing test plans developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
Provides test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level.
