A Commercial Vehicle Salespersonsells trucks/vans focusing on understanding business needs presenting vehicle features negotiating deals handling paperwork and ensuring post-sale satisfaction by building client relationships meeting targets and staying updated on market trends requiring strong communication product knowledge and a valid license.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement:Greet customers understand their specific business needs (payload usage finance) explain features/specs and conduct test drives.
- Sales Process:Present tailored vehicle solutions negotiate prices/trade-ins secure deposits prepare sales orders and process financing/paperwork.
- Relationship Management:Build rapport with clients follow up post-purchase and maintain a customer database for repeat business and referrals.
- Product & Market Knowledge:Continuously study truck/equipment specs understand market trends and stay aware of competitor offerings.
- Reporting & Coordination:Prepare sales reports coordinate with finance/service/marketing teams and participate in sales meetings and training.
- Field Activity:Conduct field visits to generate leads and meet potential clients for heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:Proven sales experience preferably in automotive or commercial vehicles.
- Education:High school diploma; degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
- Skills:Excellent communication negotiation CRM (Salesforce) market analysis and strong understanding of commercial vehicles.
- Attributes:Results-driven ability to work independently strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
- License:Valid drivers license is essential.
