Job Summary
Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Assist in collecting information and documenting processes to improve the efficiency andproductivity of manufacturing operations.
Documentation of detailed sequential work instruction and development of method sheets.
Preparation of diagrams graphs and charts to illustrate routing work flow floor layouts andprocedure of material handling and use of machine.
Studying the steps and time taken by the workers and identifying efficiency of eachrole.
Observe the workers while using the equipment to know whether it is maintained and also if itworks appropriately.
Use time devices (such as stop watch or video camera) to determine Labor Times and MachineStandard Times.
Assessing data and draft reports and graphs to indicate or validate deviations from existingoperations and standards.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Exceptional technical skills analytical ability judgment and strong operationalfocus
Excellent organization and time management skills
Either knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD or willingness to learn to make 2D drawings inAutoCAD.
Minimum of 0 - 2 years experience in manufacturing
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree in Engineering or related field; applicable experience may be considered inlieu of degree
