Intervention Inc. a Colorado non-profit provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs) electronic monitoring probation supervision and community corrections.

OVERVIEW
Assists in day-to-day operationsof Security office. Guides clients toward pro-social behavior and protectsthe safety of the staffclientsand community at large through monitoring and enforcing policies rules and regulations withresidential non-residential and out client servicesclients.

Title: Community Corrections Team Lead
Location: Pueblo CO
Starting Pay:$20.30 - $23.34/hr(based on shift differential)
Hours:Full Time - Overnight Shift (
11pm-730am)

JOB DUTIES

  • Support promote and adhere to the mission values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.

  • Carryout all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values policiesand procedures applicable laws and contractual obligations.

  • Complete and meet all responsibilities and expectations of Community Corrections Specialist

  • Serve as resource to other staff regarding procedures and standards

  • Act as change agent in the implementation of new practices including modeling desired behavior and training and coaching staff.

  • Assist in the planning development implementation monitoring and supervision of assigned program/office.

  • Train staff as needed on variety of topic areas

  • Provide direction and guidance to other staff on routine and non-routine assignments monitorcompliance with policies procedures and standards.

  • Assist management in hiring process as required

  • Provide timely and accurate input and feedback to manager on performance of staff address issues as appropriate

  • Assist in ensuring daily operations run efficiently including but not limited to scheduling staff assigning work and providing coverage

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Somerelated college level coursework preferred.
  • 2 yearscustomer service/security and correctionsexperience


SKILLS

  • Computer skillsBasic ability to enter data generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to remain calm and deescalate stressful situations

  • Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.

  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff stakeholders and with diverse client base.

  • Must pass background check and have ability to access state criminal databases

  • Ability to walk about a multi-floor building quickly and frequently

  • Ability to lift and move furnishings while conducting searches

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.

  • Must have current CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire

  • Valid drivers license preferred
