What impact can you make in this role

You will play a critical role in implementing GICs investment framework policy changes top of the house strategies and total portfolio rebalancing. This role is responsible for execution of top of the house changes ensuring alignment with business goals processes and enterprise addition this role is also responsible for business product management of platforms that impact total portfolio ecosystem.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Operations and Platform Specialist to join our team on a 2-year contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data operations and system management. This role requires an independent worker who is strong in data operations and capable of solutioning and managing system changes effectively.

What will you do as an Associate/AVP Total Portfolio Rebalancing Services (Contract)

  • Data Management:Manage data operations ensuring accuracy consistency and timely updates. Investigate and resolve data exceptions and data quality issues independently. Develop implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data
  • System Enhancements and AI Integration: Participate in system upgrades automation initiatives and user acceptance testing leveraging AI for automation and data analysis combined with a strong understanding of business needs to enhance operational processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage data onboarding working with internal stakeholders and external data vendors and counterparties. Handle operational and non-routine queries/request from business users in a professional and timely manner.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role

  • Degree in Finance Business or related fields with minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in data operations and system management
  • Possess good knowledge of financial instruments and markets. Knowledge of leveraging AI toolkits is advantageous.
  • Experience with data providers such as Bloomberg Thomson Reuters Markit and others would be preferred
  • Passion for data and process-oriented analysis with strong analytic and business diagnostic skills
  • Meticulous and detail oriented with rigor for thoroughness and controls
  • Strong data / analytics capabilities (ideally with some coding experience)
  • Strong learning agility with the ability to connect the dots.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong learning agility
  • Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment.
