We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the firms professional services across multiple functions including audit taxation compliance and advisory as required. The role involves managing client engagements coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior management in client handling and day-to-day operational matters
- Support and manage multiple client engagements across assigned service areas
- Plan and execute assignments in line with firm requirements and timelines
- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and facilitate smooth execution
- Ensure all work complies with applicable laws standards and professional guidelines
- Review and validate work prepared by juniors and articles as applicable
- Prepare compile and finalize reports submissions and client documentation
- Monitor assignment progress and ensure adherence to agreed deadlines
- Work closely with internal teams to drive process improvements and coordination
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience in a CA firm
- 35 years of relevant professional experience after qualification
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking with effective problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles taxation and regulatory frameworks
- Good communication skills with proven client-handling capability
- Working proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant professional software
Preferred (Added Advantage):
- Exposure to statutory audits or internal audit assignments
- Experience in direct and/or indirect taxation matters
- Involvement in corporate compliance or advisory-related services
- Prior experience in reviewing or guiding the work of junior team members
