Key Responsibilities
- Plan execute and manage statutory audit assignments
- Lead audit engagements and supervise junior team members
- Perform audit risk assessments and design appropriate audit procedures
- Review audit working papers and ensure adherence to auditing standards
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act Accounting Standards and applicable laws
- Coordinate with client finance teams to obtain information and resolve audit queries
- Draft audit observations reports and management letters
- Monitor timelines and ensure timely completion of assignments
- Support partners and managers in client handling and audit planning
- Maintain professional standards and documentation quality
Requirements
- 35 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit within a CA firm
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulatory frameworks
- Working knowledge of GST Income Tax and corporate compliance
- Experience in handling audits independently or with limited supervision
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Strong analytical communication and client-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting software
Preferred (Added Advantage)
- Exposure to large audits and group audits
- Experience in internal audit due diligence or special audits
- Prior experience in reviewing work of juniors or articles
