As part of our EY- Data & Analytics team you will help clients in developing and implementing data analyses data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Working with latest tools available in the market you will help clients by acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems and help to identify analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Using your expertise in data analytics you will help our clients to view data in context and make smarter business decisions to achieve improved products and services.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a developer on various ETL implementation projects contributing to successful project outcomes.
• Enhance the development of intellectual capital within your area of expertise.
• Provide technical best practices at both product and design levels.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators.
• Complete assigned tasks punctually and provide regular status updates to the team lead.
• Support business development initiatives by leading pursuits and fostering strong relationships with existing clients.
• Specialization in a specific sector or domain is a plus.
• Participate in case teams to devise solutions for complex unstructured problems.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter with a strong understanding of its functionalities.
• Experience in match and merge configuration tuning and error handling.
• Familiarity with IDMC architecture including secure agent installation and configuration.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling best practices.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Excellent communication presentation and team-building abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to translate client requirements into visual narratives.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills and technologies.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) Computer Applications (MCA) or Business Administration (MBA) with relevant industry experience.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in ETL projects utilizing Informatica PowerCenter.
• Understanding of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication consulting and quality process skills.
• Ability to understand and evaluate source-to-target mapping documents providing recommendations as needed.
• Experience in managing enhancements in Informatica PowerCenter Oracle/PL SQL and SQL Server.
• Proficient in data modelling techniques.
• Capable of understanding source and downstream requirements prior to implementing enhancements.
• Skilled in coding testing implementing and maintaining medium to highly complex ETL code and scripts to automate processes.
• Familiarity with Informatica MDM and Data Governance (DG) is advantageous.

Ideally youll also have

• Project management skills
• Familiar with Agile project delivery.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure AWS is preferred.
