Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise Idaho is looking for two Application Development Analysts or Seniors to join our Information Technology team. Its an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. Our work plays a critical role in communities we serve across Idaho and Oregon and were working hard to safely provide our customers with the reliable affordable clean energy they depend on. While this position is based at Idaho Powers downtown Boise location we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does an Application Development Analyst do for us
Under general supervision this individual provides analysis design development and ongoing support for the implementation of custom applications and integrations. Primary responsibilities focus on application development using Microsofts development stack .NET Framework MAUI to deliver secure scalable and maintainable solutions. Development is focused on both internal and customer facing applications using Entity Framework and Web APIs. Participates in problem analysis solution development action planning and implementation coordination with peer developers and technical system analysts.
A Senior Application Development Analyst will also:
Serve as technical expert and/or technical project lead/manager and may direct the work of other developers.
A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Application Development Analyst:
Education/Experience:
- BS in Computer Science and 1 year of directly relevant experience and/or formal targeted hands-on training
OR
- 5 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal targeted hands-on training
Senior Application Development Analyst:
Education/Experience:
- BS in Computer Science and 3 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal targeted hands-on training
OR
- 7 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal targeted hands-on training
Licenses & Certifications:
- Project Management and/or programming language certification desirable
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment fine motor skills including typing on the computer dialing phones filing paper and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
