Centra Behavioral Health Hospital is a brand-new 72 bed behavioral health facility opening in 2026.We offer high-quality compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based transformational care for a broad range of mental health concerns in a compassionate comfortable environment.
How youll contribute
A Business Office Manager who excels in this role:
- Accurately records and reports census and admission information.
- Serves as additional point of contact regarding benefit determination within departmental timelines.
- Performs upfront collections financial counseling and data processing
- Ensures accurate capturing and posting of financial activity and maintains accounts receivable at amounts appropriate for payer and acuity mix.
- Actively works with the Utilization department to ensure pre-certifications certifications and appeals are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Corresponds effectively with commercial and managed care payers.
- Performs insurance benefit verification and financial counseling in a timely manner.
- Reviews deposits to ensure accuracy and balances cash daily.
- Ensures accurate records of financial transactions for the facility.
- Assists the Financial Counselor to ensure payments are received by clients.
- Displays fiscal responsibility.

What were looking for
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Associates degree or higher in business administration accounting preferred or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable at psychiatric healthcare facility and previous supervisory experience preferred.
- License: Valid drivers license preferred; completed Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of hire and prior to patient contact.
