About the Role:

Sloan is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer II that will be based out of our Andover MA location and will report to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager. This role will perform functions to develop maintain and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company product lines on an economic and efficient basis.

What Youll Do:

  • Maintain production equipment
  • Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations
  • Assist in the design of products to develop Design for Manufacturing parts and processes
  • Analyze review and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques
  • Recommend justify and implement the installation of new equipment and processes
  • Prepare routings process sheets work instructions and process drawings as required and establish feeds speeds cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment
  • Support Production personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery equipment tooling manufacturing methods and processes and routings.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Technology
  • 5 Years Experience with manufacturing technologies processes methods machining assembly
  • 5 Years Experience with company operations product lines or practices
  • 5 Years Relevant Experience Critical thinking and analytical proficiency.
  • Demonstrates clear professional and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions consistent with an inclusive work environment.
  • Must have experience using Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Must have experience with electrical mechanical assembly
  • Must possess the ability to collaborate with co-workers production personnel and outside vendors.

Not Required but a Plus:

  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)
  • Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.).
  • General experience working with SAP ERP Business System.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $97000-$107800 annually.

This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidates experience skills qualifications and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
