Comptable (HF) Canopy By Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower

As an Accountant you will play a key role in the success of the property and will be responsible for the following duties reporting to the Finance Director.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Revenue Audit:

You will be responsible for monitoring controlling and recording the hotels revenue by reviewing cash reports and performing regular cash controls.

Accounts Payable:

You will post supplier invoices and prepare payments while also entering bank statements and performing bank reconciliations.

Process Management:

You will support the Director of Finance in preparing monthly closings and reports manage journal entries carry out monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and handle tax declarations such as VAT and tourist tax.

Procedures & Audit:

You will take part in internal and external statutory audits ensuring compliance with SOX regulations and strictly follow the companys procedures and policies.

Profile Required

• The Canopy by Hilton team is looking for an Accountant with the following qualifications and skills:
• Strong knowledge of French accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (NAVISION etc.)
• Professional proficiency in French (FLUENT) and English
• High level of confidentiality
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to supervise an apprentice and in the long term manage a team
• Team spirit and flexibility
• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and autonomy
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

You hold a higher education qualification (2-year degree) in Hospitality Management with initial experience in accounting preferably within the Hospitality/Food & Beverage sector.
