Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

Were looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role youll handle preventive maintenance inspections misc. repairs to medical equipment i.e. wheelchairs walkers as well as a variety of other maintenance tasks throughout our community. Youll work under the supervision of the Maintenance Director to keep our facility safe functional and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repairs on handrails windows flooring walls ceilings beds wheelchairs geri-chairs misc. equipment
Change filters on HVAC equipment and manage supply stocking and lifting tasks
Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently with high-quality workmanship
Conduct daily inspections of common areas and community amenities to ensure proper condition and functionality
Carry out preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC plumbing fixtures filers water checks and misc.
Identify and report potentially hazardous situations that may not be immediately obvious to others
Enforce safety procedures in compliance with all health and safety regulations
Notify the supervisor of supply and equipment needs to support daily operations and resident care

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2 years of experience in a general maintenance.
