Southern Glazers offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $75000 - $85000 a year. This salary range is an average range for this determining a final offer the company will evaluate a specific candidates education skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Serve as the primary liaison between the local market and designated suppliers; work to develop strategic direction for supplier priorities to meet volume and value targets through optimal allocation of resources and adherence to brand strategy/standards. Achieve customer objectives key performance indicators and targets by implementing strategies and tactics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the relationships between the Company and regional customers to form long-term partnerships
  • Drive brand success through leadership selling trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of sales reps district managers and key account specialists within the wholesaler
  • Take a lead role in Supplier Planning Initiatives including supplier meetings programming communication and business review/planning meeting with SGWS leadership
  • Create/deliver marketing programs/plans for use in the field present new program ideas and efficiencies and obtain senior leadership buy-in
  • Plan execute and evaluate sales promotions and marketing of brands
  • Ensure all retail programs fall in line with standards regarding tracking and execution by coordinating with Pricing Business Intelligence and Finance
  • Utilize available analytic tools (Tableau ACD EzFocus etc.) to identify opportunities in consumer shifts/trends channel dynamics key accounts etc.

    • Superviser et maintenir les relations entre lentreprise et les clients régionaux afin de bâtir des partenariats à long terme
    • Stimuler la réussite des marques grâce au leadership commercial aux circuits de distribution et au soutien actif des efforts de vente des représentants des directeurs de district et des spécialistes des comptes clés au sein du distributeur
    • Jouer un rôle de premier plan dans les initiatives de planification fournisseurs incluant les réunions fournisseurs la communication des programmes et les réunions dexamen/planification commerciale avec la direction de SGWS
    • Créer et livrer des programmes/plans marketing pour le terrain présenter de nouvelles idées de programmes et des gains defficacité et obtenir ladhésion de la haute direction
    • Planifier exécuter et évaluer les ventes promotions et activités marketing des marques
    • Veiller à ce que tous les programmes de vente au détail respectent les normes de suivi et dexécution en coordination avec les équipes Tarification Intelligence dAffaires et Finance
    • Utiliser les outils analytiques disponibles (Tableau ACD EzFocus etc.) pour identifier les opportunités liées aux tendances de consommation à la dynamique des circuits aux comptes clés etc.

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports on account progress goals and forecasts for teams and stakeholders Set program objectives and measure ROI with a KPI scorecard
  • Oversee funds related to local marketing and brand planning while ensuring brand pricing and gross profit are aligned to strategy by channel
  • Ensure all program tracking is accurate timely and aligns with regional and individual province reporting
  • Create coordinate and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g. winemaker dinners product launches and tastings).
  • Familiarize yourself market competitors and remain apprised of trends/developments within specific product categories geographic regions and accounts
  • Support POS / VAP planning and buys
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Créer coordonner et participer à des événements promotionnels sur site chez les clients établis (ex. : dîners avec vignerons lancements de produits dégustations)
  • Se familiariser avec les concurrents du marché et rester informé des tendances et développements dans les catégories de produits les régions géographiques et les comptes
  • Soutenir la planification et les achats de matériel PLV / VAP
  • Exécuter toute autre tâche liée au poste selon les besoins

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Five years of relevant experience
  • Able to obtain & meet industry licensing overnight travel requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver license & maintain auto-liability insurance
  • Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications
  • Presentation skills to effectively communicate persuade & facilitate discussions
  • Interpersonal skills are required to establish effective working relationships
  • Understanding of wine & spirits to include regions/varietals product/food pairing techniques basic production & service
  • Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines &maintain a high level of quality output

    Qualifications minimales

    • Baccalauréat dans un domaine connexe ou combinaison équivalente de formation et dexpérience
    • Cinq années dexpérience pertinente
    • Capacité à obtenir et respecter les exigences de licences de lindustrie au besoin
    • Possession dun permis de conduire valide et capacité à maintenir une assurance automobile conforme aux lois provinciales
    • Voyages avec nuitées selon les besoins
    • Maîtrise des applications informatiques notamment traitement de texte tableur base de données logiciel de présentation courriel et logiciels daffaires spécialisés
    • Compétences en présentation nécessaires pour communiquer mettre à jour persuader et faciliter les discussions avec tous les niveaux de gestion
    • Compétences interpersonnelles essentielles pour établir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec tous les niveaux de lorganisation et les parties prenantes
    • Connaissance du vin et des spiritueux incluant régions/variétés techniques daccords mets-boissons notions de production et de service
    • Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets/priorités avec des délais serrés tout en maintenant un haut niveau de qualité
