Job Summary
The City of Winkler is looking for energetic and positive people to join our seasonal Parks & Recreation team!
What Youll Do:
You will get to help people enjoy all that Winklers recreation areas have to offer by keeping them safe clean welcoming and running smoothly.
Youll get to do a wide variety of mostly outdoor tasks. Some of your daily activities could include mowing trimming weeding garbage removal tending to the campground doing work at the Discovery Nature Sanctuary and Aquatic Centre cleaning.

Qualifications Youll Need:
- Experience with yard work landscaping small equipment and hand tools operation are considered assets.
- Horticultural knowledge or experience including the planting and care of annual flowers garden beds and potted plants is considered a major asset.
- Ability to do physical work outside in various weather conditions.
- A Manitoba Drivers License is considered a major asset.
Work Period:
May through August 2026.
Compensation:
$16.50 - $18.50 depending on years of service.
