Job Summary
The General Maintenance Worker performs operation and maintenance of the HVAC systems plumbing drywall repair and painting office moves and shift coverage when needed at CMIs customer site in Shepherdstown West Virginia. Part Time Temporary - $31.61/hr. Shift: 11PM - 7:30AM
Key Job Functions
- Maintain Replaces light fixtures motors using joint compound to patch holes and cracks in walls and ceilings
- Repairs or replaces sink faucets water coolers toilets urinals paints structures and equipment
- Repairs or replaces stone pavers/steps hangs doors and installs door locks and replaces broken window cranks
- Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery as required
- Changes lights performs drain maintenance
- Performs housekeeping of mechanical spaces and rooms
- Moves furniture and equipment
- Helps with event set ups and assists other trades workers as needed
Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- Valid Drivers license is required
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident Alien with ability to pass a government background check
- Must possess at least five (5) years related maintenance experience for commercial facilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs work in tight restricted spaces and work from a ladder
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter with good initiative to get the job done with little to no direct supervision
