We are seeking a detail-oriented and critical thinking Human Factors Intern to join our innovative team in Chicago IL. As a Human Factors Intern you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies to real-world projects while learning tangible skills from the experienced Human Factors professionals on the team.
- Assist in planning and conducting usability studies
- Analyze and interpret data collected from usability studies
- Support the creation of research reports and presentations
- Contribute to the development of user interface designs and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors principles into product development processes
Some domestic travel (approximately 20%) will be required for supporting usability study activities.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Human Factors Cognitive Psychology Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Currently a Junior or Senior (graduating 2027 or 2028)
- Strong knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with user-centered design processes and basic understanding of ergonomics
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Interest in human factors and product design for drug delivery/combination products
- Relevant coursework or project experience is preferred
