LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities: carry out established plans of care; administer therapeutic exercises and modalities; assist patients with mobility transfers ambulation and daily living activities; monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist; fit and train patients on assistive devices; complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; support patient satisfaction quality outcomes and productivity standards.
Qualifications: Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant; current state PTA license; LTC experience preferred; knowledge of Medicare documentation; strong communication organization and teamwork skills.
Work Environment: LTC facility; physical demands consistent with therapy services including lifting and mobility assistance.
