As the School Nurse you will have an impact on the greater MVS : Embrace the vision of The Miami Valley an ability to develop a rapport with to ongoing professional and/or advise health-related on the schools Crisis Management with caregivers both orally and in writing effectively and often. Meet all other expectations and responsibilities as outlined by the employee responsibilities:Consults with school leadership regarding student health identify health and safety student injuries as policy revisions based upon professional guidelines and up the clinic; requests and orders essential supplies; promotes the proper use and care of school property; oversees the cleaning repair and replacement of clinic procedures to ensure that all medicines are stored safely. Regularly reevaluates school procedures for dispensing medications and training faculty and assistance to sick and injured students. Administers first aid as that the immunization status of all students is in compliance with State law and files the annual State report(s).Performs all required State minimum screening activities and other screening deemed completed medical emergency authorization faculty and staff yearly to provide assistance to students through First Aid CPR anaphylaxis bloodborne pathogens and mandated reporting/child abuse in-service accurate records and submits reports on the confidentiality of privileged and protected health information in accordance with HIPAA evidence of suspected child abuse as required by with our dining partner FISD to provide up-to-date information concerning student dietary restrictions;Other duties as :Current registered nurse (RN) license or BSN from an accredited nursing program required. School Nurse certificate certification in CPR/ AED/ First aid.
