We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Therapist to join our friendly dental practice in Newport (NP20 6WE). As a vital member of our oral healthcare team you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality preventative care and treatment to our diverse patient base.

About the role:
- Working: 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday)
- Deliver a comprehensive range of dental treatments including preventative care restorative procedures and oral health education
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform thorough dental cleanings scaling and root planing procedures
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings for various dental conditions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and practice protocols
- Engage empathetically with patients to ensure a positive dental experience
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice

Qualifications :
- Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist Therapist
- Proficiency in delivering a wide range of dental treatments including preventative care and restorative procedures
- Strong knowledge of oral health education and patient care best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care
- Empathetic and patient-focused attitude
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in dental hygiene and therapy
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
