Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our exclusive RoofTop Bar. As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our rooftop dining establishment ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maximizing profitability and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage service.

  • Oversee daily operations of the rooftop bar and restaurant ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Manage and motivate a team of servers bartenders and kitchen staff
  • Create and maintain staff schedules ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours
  • Monitor and maintain food and beverage quality standards
  • Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Manage inventory place orders with suppliers and control costs
  • Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the chef to develop and update menus considering local trends and customer preferences
  • Organize and oversee special events promotions and themed nights
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements
  • Prepare financial reports analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal and ambiance of the rooftop bar

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management preferably in a rooftop or high-end bar setting
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and managing costs in a restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Experience with inventory management financial reporting and budgeting
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and current Food Safety Certification
  • Familiarity with Malaysian cuisine and local food trends
  • Understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry and current cocktail trends
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Malay or other local languages is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
