Oracle Blockchain Platform is an enterprise-grade pre-assembled platform ready for blockchain application development and deployment in Oracle public cloud and other infrastructures.

At Oracle Development Center in Zapopan we have built a team ground up working on various cloud service platforms that are running on Oracles next-generation cloud infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity with unmatched exposure to the complete cloud technology stack.

As a Senior DevOps/SRE in the Oracle Blockchain Platform DevOps team you will:

• Be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Blockchain Cloud Service.
• Be able to develop test and enhance build and deployment scripts in CI/CD frameworks automate the deployment and collaborate with development architects and cloud infrastructure teams in designing DevOps processes.
• Analyse logs to support and troubleshoot an application infrastructure issues in production / non-production environments
• Handle day-to-day management of tickets deployments patching to core infrastructure systems
• Drive monitoring across the products and ensure the reliability of an increasingly complex system that should match our SLAs

Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience scale/performance and operability in mind

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software development and/or IT BE/BS in Computer Science
• Strong background and hands-on experience in Linux/Unix System administration; proficiency in Shell and scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience in microservices and containerized technologies (Docker Kubernetes etc.) and their deployment.
• Experience with DevOps automation/configuration management tools like Jenkins TeamCity ELK Splunk Deploy Docker Ansible Puppet Chef or an equivalent
• Understanding of public cloud infrastructures especially as it relates to networking security deployment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working in highly distributed team settings.
• Sense of ownership passion to build support and maintain quality products on a massive scale in a collaborative agile environment and excitement to learn.
• A self-starting individual with a strong work ethic capable of planning and managing time effectively.

• Ability to perform under pressure participate in periodic on-call rotation for DevOps

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building/automating/monitoring/maintaining complete infrastructure for SaaS-based services on OCI/AWS/GCP/Azure
• Understanding of business continuity fault-tolerant designs and fail-over architecture
