About the Role
We are seeking an Early Learning Educational Leader to join our ELC Leadership this pivotal pedagogical role you will lead the development implementation and continuous improvement of high-quality educational practice across Wonderland (Long Day Care) Kindergarten and Our Place (OSHC).
Working under the direction of the Director of Early Learning you will champion excellence in teaching and learning guide curriculum decisions support educators in reflective practice and ensure that childrens ideas strengths and identities inform learning programs.
You will also serve as the Kindergarten Nominated Supervisor and play an active role in collaborative planning quality assurance community partnerships and strengthening our shared pedagogical identity

About You
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated pedagogical leadership experience in Early Childhood education and care.
- Deep understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) Reggio Emilia principles and the Schools inquiry-based approach.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding National Quality Standards.
- Ability to mentor guide and inspire Educators to embed high quality practice across all age groups.
- Demonstrated capability in documentation reflective practice curriculum decision making and making learning visible.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills: collaborative diplomatic adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead service wide pedagogical initiatives.
- Competent with digital documentation platforms such as StoryPark and confident in learning new systems.
- Current Blue Card or QCT registration.
- Current First Aid CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- Recognised Child Protection training (CHCPRT units).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support pedagogical excellence by ensuring deep and authentic implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) Reggio Emilia principles and the Schools inquiry-based approach.
- Support educators in documentation planning cycles reflective practice and professional learning.
- Strengthen inclusive safe and nurturing environments that uphold dignity equity and agency.
- Lead the Kindergarten program as Nominated Supervisor and ensure high quality delivery and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Director of Early Learning and Centre leaders to uphold service quality planning and evaluation.
- Support the Centres Quality Improvement Plan and contribute to service wide pedagogical identity and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with families and foster opportunities for participation communication and community connection.
- Support transitions orientation processes and meaningful engagement with outdoor learning environments.
