Chick-fil-A Kitchen Director is responsible for executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service.

Chick-fil-A Kitchen Directors two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively and coaching/developing team members. They lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

  • Bilingual in in Spanish and English (written and spoken) helpful


Were looking for a driven people-first Kitchen Director Leadership to oversee all back-of-house operations deliver consistently excellent food and develop a high-performing kitchen team. This is a senior leadership role focused on food safety quality speed and team development


Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the back of house team including team members trainers shift leaders and back of house managers to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
  • Food PreparationandProduction:Oversee the preparation cooking and presentation of menu items according to Chick-fil-As high-quality standards and specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels ordering and storage of ingredients and supplies ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing waste minimizing food cost and labor. As well as optimizing productivity Key Performance Indicators.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain a well-organized kitchen environment including equipment maintenance cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Menu DevelopmentandInnovation: Collaborate with the certified trainer and training manager to deploy and train about new menu items limited-time offers and seasonal specials that align with Chick-fil-As brand and customer preferences.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to consistently deliver exceptional food products and uphold Chick-fil-As taste and presentation standards performing to performance standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and manage kitchen-related expenses including food costs labor costs and waste reduction to meet budgetary goals while maintaining food quality.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with FOH staff including the management team and FOH Team members to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
  • ComplianceandSafety: Ensure compliance with local health department regulations food safety standards and Chick-fil-As operational policies taking necessary actions to address any violations or concerns.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in a staff position if needed stepping in to support kitchen operations and provide hands-on assistance.
