Job Summary
PROJECT ELECTRICIAN
Location: Metro Detroit
Job Function:
Were looking for a skilled and experiencedJourneyman Electrician to work on commercial construction this role youll play a vital part in installing wiring and maintaining electrical systems for new and existing buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that our projects are completed safely efficiently and up to code making a direct impact on the success of each project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install wire and connect electrical systems in commercial construction projects.
- Interpret and follow blueprints electrical plans and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with local state and national electrical codes.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Holds a valid MI Journeyman Electrician License.
Optional Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 is a plus but is not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch and climb for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to climb and work from ladders scaffolding lifts and elevated platforms
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces such as ceilings mechanical rooms and utility shafts
- Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lbs of tools materials and equipment
- Ability to perform overhead work and maintain awkward or static positions for extended periods
- Ability to use hand and power tools requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and small print labels
