The Electrical Engineer 2 will support the Grid Operations and Planning Research area focusing on deploying and evaluating emerging technologies. This role involves power system analysis modeling simulation data analytics and visualization. The engineer will develop research plans manage multiple tasks and provide documentation and reports on projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop research plans to evaluate new technology.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Provide documentation of study assumptions and methods used to arrive at results.
- Provide informative reports and presentations on projects.
- Support projects and lead efforts to deploy and evaluate the performance of emerging technologies.
- Apply engineering analysis to solve problems.
- Develop research plans to evaluate new technology.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Provide documentation of study assumptions and methods used to arrive at results.
- Provide informative reports and presentations on projects.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Proficiency in power system modeling and simulation (RTDS PSCAD or PSS/E).
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage your own work schedule and work with limited direction.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
