Where does this role fit in

As a Repairs Supervisor youll lead and support a skilled team delivering high-quality repairs across our social housing homes. Youll provide technical advice support quality control and help maintain excellent service standards.

A key part of the role will be supporting transformation and service improvement helping embed new processes ways of working and performance expectations. Youll monitor health and safety compliance carry out inspections and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Working closely with internal teams youll help ensure repairs are delivered efficiently and consistently always keeping customers at the heart of what we do.

What skills and experience do you need

Were looking for someone who is proactive approachable and confident in problem solving.

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role with the ability to lead and motivate others
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills
  • Confidence supporting change service improvement or transformation activity
  • Good communication and IT skills including Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience managing work schedules absences and team performance
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
  • Full UK driving licence (a work van and fuel card are provided)

What are the pay and benefits

Time off and Flexibility

  • The base is either Swansea or Cwmbran covering a geographical area of South Wales. This role will predominantly focus on our Central services.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.
  • 26 days holiday plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
  • Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
  • Paternity Leave: 3 weeks

Money and Pensions

  • The salary is 40845 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
