The City of Winkler is looking for energetic and positive people to join our seasonal Aquatic Centre team!
What Youll Do:
Working together with the Aquatic Centre team you will help provide a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for Aquatic Centre patrons this summer!
Some of what youll do includes active surveillance of the pool preventing and responding to emergencies instructing swimming lessons enforcing rules and regulations in a safe and courteous manner and maintaining Aquatic Centre equipment.
Full-time or part-time positions are available.

- Youll be eager to contribute to the team working effectively and harmoniously with your teammates.
- Youll be able to interact positively with the public at all times.
- Youll be able to stay calm in emergency situations and while interacting with patrons.
- Youll be willing to learn and grow in your role!
Qualifications Youll Need:
- Current National Lifeguard Pool certification
- Current First Aid and/or Aquatic Emergency Care with CPR
- All Lifeguards should have or be willing to obtain Swim for Life Instructor certification.
- A criminal record check and child abuse registry check will be required.
Work Period:
May September 2026
Compensation:
$19.25 - $21.13
