Packaging Specialist

About the Job

As a Packaging Specialist in Xellia Pharmaceuticals MS&T department you will participate in global packaging transfer projects introduce new processes support their validation and maintain documentation of existing ones. You will support global serialization initiatives while contributing to new product launches and process standardization.

Main Responsibilities

Participation in global packaging transfer projects of commercial products
Introduction of new pharmaceutical packaging processes
Preparation of documentation for packaging material and finished pharmaceutical products
Preparation of documentation for process transfer and registration documentation
Maintain relevant packaging documentation for the products in area of responsibility
Troubleshooting various problems in packaging technologies
Engineering Support of development and validation of secondary packaging process
Participation in Artwork preparation approval and management
Participation in development of packaging design for innovative products
Participation in new product launches for worldwide markets
Participation in improvement of global serialization projects
Standardization of packaging procedures within the company

What We Expect

University degree in Pharmacy Biotechnology or related studies
Min. 2 years of experience in the field of packaging of pharmaceutical products and / or quality assurance of packaging of pharmaceutical products and similar activities related to the selection of packaging material and packaging process
Experience in pharmaceutical artwork preparation technical content review of artwork (for multiple markets worldwide) according to specifications common industrial standards (ISO; ANSI) and regulatory requirements
Experience with GS1 standards in barcodes
Experience with serialization for pharmaceuticals (worldwide)
Experience with GMP environment
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Developed stakeholder management skills
Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and empathetic personality
