Student Compliance and Risk Opportunities

Student Compliance

The primary role of the student in Compliance is to provide independent assurance advice and insight to Fidelitys risk management governance and control processes.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Gain an understanding of the compliance department its processes tools techniques and concepts by participating in a wide variety of assurance and advisory services within the Compliance department
  • Collaborate with the wider compliance team in Fidelity International Limited (FIL)

Student Risk Management

As a student in Risk Management you will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across the organization and gain broad exposure to the operations of a mutual fund company. You will support various risk assessments conduct control testing and provide recommendations for improvement and provide ongoing oversight.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about various operational processes across the organization.
  • Learn risk management frameworks and various risk management programs.
  • Partner with various departments across Fidelity and learn how identify and manage risks and how risk management team provides independent monitoring and oversight.
  • Gain valued skills in time management and adherence to timelines

What were looking for:

  • You are working towards a university degree with a concentration in accounting audit finance commerce business or economics
  • You have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • You must also be available for the full duration of the term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelitys dynamic working arrangement.

Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 based on experience and qualifications.

We offer market-aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role.
