The Job:

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. The Head Chef position is a great opportunity to move into an essential and secure industry. Every day you will be making a difference in peoples lives building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families. The Head Chef will have:

Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.
Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management in an aged care (or similar) environment.
Experience managing staff as well as food and operational costs.
Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements for aged care consumers.
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or proven equivalent experience).
You will also bring a real commitment to working safely fabulous teamwork skills basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference. Aged care experience preferred but not essential for right candidate
