About the Role

As a Business Analyst within the Engaging Experiences Technology Stream youll play a key role in stakeholders and our delivery squads partnering with BAs Senior BAs UX Engineers and Automation specialists to ensure everyone is aligned and working toward the same customer and business outcomes.

Youll be responsible for eliciting analysing and validating requirements to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with feature teams including UX designers developers and testers as well as working independently or alongside other Business Analysts.

As a Business Analyst at Sportsbet you will perform the following:

  • Be the interface between stakeholders across both business and technology including back office and customer facing teams
  • Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques (e.g. workshops interviews data analysis)
  • Maintain a high level of requirements quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Use data and processes during analysis to clarify and validate requirements
  • Facilitate ceremonies like Backlog refinement Sprint planning and daily standups

About You

  • Proven experience in a functional Business Analyst role.
  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite - JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of Kanban and Agile Scrum.
  • Exposure to and familiar with AI and a curiosity to explore how AI can be incorporated into the day-to-day activities
