Site Planner

About The Role

The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests redraws and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

What Youll Do

• Complete lot fit requests.
• Complete site plan redraws as assigned.
• Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.
• Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards code and community guidelines as they apply to lot fits and redraws.
• From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.

What Were Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.
• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products including Outlook Excel and Word.
• Ability to read blueprints surveys Metes & Bounds descriptions.
• Experience in civil drafting preferred.
