Location: Relief shifts are available at our Los Angeles clinics ranging from 6 to 10 hours throughout the week.
What youll be working on:
- Maximize Your License: Utilize your RVT license to its fullest delivering top-notch care
- Precision in Care: Maintain accurate medical records with the appropriate veterinary terminology
- Diagnostic Expertise: Perform lab work and radiology ensuring quality results
- Pharmacology Knowledge: Handle controlled medications with attention to detail
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to provide exceptional care
- Client Communication: Deliver clear compassionate discharge instructions to pet owners
- Autonomous Practice: Thrive in a setting that values independence and proactive problem-solving

- Liability Insurance Recommended: At Modern Animal our relief technicians work as independent contractors so we recommend they carry their own liability insurance. This way our relief technicians enjoy flexibility and independence while staying covered.
The pay range for this position is $300.00-379.50 per 10 hour shift; however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. This role will not be eligible for medical financial and/or other full-time information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
