Aufgaben

As a working student with us you will:

• Support the development of backend services in (or Python depending on the project).
• Help implement integration projects with third-party systems such as HL7 FHIR hospital information systems wearable APIs and BI tools.
• Work on AI-related service integrations including data preprocessing or connecting to AI model endpoints.
• Assist in maintaining and extending internal APIs authentication flows and backend infrastructure components.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers product managers and the data team to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews documentation efforts and architectural discussions.
• Support troubleshooting debugging and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.

Qualifikation

You are a strong fit if you:

• Are enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript (university projects personal projects or internships all count).
• Understand the basics of API development (REST Webhooks).
• Are interested in system integrations data pipelines or medical IT interfaces.
• Bonus: have some exposure to AI or LLM integrations (e.g. model serving vector search LLM APIs).
• Enjoy solving technical challenges and learning new tools and technologies.
• Speak fluent English; German is a plus but not required.
• Can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester with flexibility during exam periods.
