3months Contract with possible extension
Responsibilities:
- Perform rack and stack installation of servers network devices and related hardware in data centre environments
- Install label route and terminate structured cabling (copper and fiber) according to industry standards
- Configure and support Cisco networking equipment including switches and routers
- Connect and manage AC and DC power systems including PDUs and redundant power setups
- Ensure proper cable management airflow optimization and equipment placement within racks
- Conduct hardware troubleshooting diagnostics and basic network connectivity testing
- Follow data centre best practices safety procedures and change management protocols
- Assist with equipment decommissioning relocation and asset tracking
- Maintain accurate documentation for installations cabling layouts and inventory
- Collaborate with network engineers operations teams and vendors to support infrastructure projects
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2 years in rack and stack installations preferably in data centres.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with power systems (AC/DC) cable routing and termination.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of data centre best practices and safety protocols.
