Job Summary

Unit Name: Float Pool Boone Health now requires that all nurse candidates provide current CEU documentation during the compliance process 32 bed fast paced unit. Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:6; may go up to 1:8. Nurses must be willing to take 8 when needed. Patient Age Groups: Adults Geriatric Remote Tele Nurse will float to all MS units cardio medicine otrtho surgical Neuro and Oncology. Common Equipment: IV pumps Tele SCDs PCA pump Lifts gait belts CO2 monitoring Line Management/Skills: Required: IV Insertion PICC/Central Line Management Vascular Device Access/Care Ortho/MS/Onc Skills: Required: Traction CPM Epidural/PCA pumps Feeding Tubes Wound Vac Cardiac: Required: Remote Tele Tele Interpretation Airway Skills: Required: CPAP/BiPAP Trach Care
