Position Overview: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking a Contract Management Consultant to join the Procurement Services Division. This role will serve as a Contract Specialist for the Engineering Consultant Section supporting contract administration and compliance activities.
Position Details: - Type: Staff Augmentation
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: Day (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
- Duration: February 9 2026 June 30 2026
- Work Location: 205 S 17th Avenue Phoenix AZ 85007
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Travel: No
- Security: Background check and drug screening required (HireRight)
- Local Candidates Only: Must reside locally at time of submission and be available for in-person interviews within one week of posting close date.
Key Responsibilities: - Review and approve payment reports and invoices.
- Apply accounting practices and ensure compliance with budget and expenditure fundamentals.
- Maintain contract knowledge and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Organize and prioritize work assignments effectively.
- Utilize computer applications including Google Suite Microsoft Excel Word and Adobe Acrobat.
Required Skills: - Experience with contracts and contract management.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in reviewing and approving payment reports/invoices.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
Preferred Skills: - Understanding of budget fundamentals and expenditure tracking.
Education: - Bachelors Degree or higher preferred.
Additional Information: - Candidates must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
