About this Position:

Job Title: ZOS Mainframe System Programer (in-person interview)

Duties: Defines the problems and analyzes and develops plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex-to-complex systems. Coordinates and manages the preparation of analysis evaluations and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems specifications including but not limited to: information technology health care education public safety social services human resources transportation and environment.

Required Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Masters Degree is preferred.

General Experience: Must have seven (7) years of experience in the IT field.

Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of combined new and related older technical experience in the IT field directly related to the required area of expertise.

Personnel Preferred Qualifications:
Subject Matter Expert- Mainframe Systems Programmer
A. Fifteen (15) years of experience with mainframe systems (IBM z16 2932-A02 and above DS-996 and above TS-VED and above).
B. Fifteen (15) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of the zOS v2.5 and above IBM DB2 v12 and above CICS TS v6.0 and above.
C. Ten (10) years of experience with DASD replication product IBM Copy Services Manager v6.3.15.0 and above and the implementation of Safeguard Copy.
D. Ten (10) years of experience in disaster recovery business continuity and capacity optimization.
