Our client a valuesdriven disability service provider is seeking Social Care Workers in Kilkenny who are committed to creating safe supportive environments where each persons individuality is recognised and their potential is supported.

Your role

Provide personcentred support in daily living community inclusion and developing independent living skills.
Promote dignity choice and active participation in line with national guidance.
Support service users with personal care communication needs and emotional wellbeing.
Participate as a Key Worker and contribute to individual personal plans.
Build positive professional relationships with service users families and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
Support safeguarding practices risk reporting and ongoing quality improvements.
Work collaboratively as part of a respectful teamfocused environment.

What youll need

Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care or another CORUapproved discipline.
CORU Registration (or evidence of application) mandatory as per Social Care Workers Registration Board.
Pathways accepted include:
Recognised qualification route or
Recognition of Prior Learning / Assessment of Professional Competence route.
Full clean driving licence with minimum two years driving experience.
A genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities.
