Job Summary

We are seeking a personable Hotel Breakfast Host/Attendant to welcome guests sets up and maintains the buffet (stocking food/drinks cleaning) prepares simple foods (pre cooked sausageeggs) clears tables handles guest inquiries and cleans the dining area ensuring a positive start to the guests day while adhering to food safety standards. Key duties involve guest interaction food prep stocking cleaning and multitasking in a fast-paced early-morning environment often requiring flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Fast-paced involves early mornings and requires high energy to manage busy periods and guest needs.

Requirements

Preparation & Setup: Set up the buffet area arrange food displays stock beverage dispensers (coffee juice milk) and prepare simple breakfast items like waffles or eggs.
Guest Service: Greet guests warmly assist with questions provide condiments take orders for made-to-order items and ensure a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: Continuously replenish food wipe spills clear vacated tables remove trash and sanitize service lines following health codes.
Inventory: Monitor food and supply levels returning reusable items to storage and noting items needed for reordering.
Breakdown: Clean and reset the breakfast area after service ends.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Customer Service: Friendly attentive and excellent communication skills.
Food Safety: Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation.
Organization & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting.
Experience: Prior food service or hospitality experience is often preferred.
