Poker Host

This position will assist the Casino Manager and Shift Managers to secure consistent gaming action. Responsibilities will be to promote Lucky Lady Casino on and off property increase Lucky Ladys player base as well as participating in all Poker games designated to promote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for gaming growth of the game(s) hired to support.
• Responsible for charting growth of new player base and maintaining close contact.
• Provide recommendations as to how to stimulate and increase business.
• Host promotional events and assist in the coordination of such events.
• Financially support all games that you will be directly responsible for overseeing.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Be alert at all times to any unusual or suspicious activity that may occur.
• Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
• Never indicate that a tip toke or gratuity is expected for service.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Supervisor.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required:

• Must be able to communicate by telephone and in person in clear English in a courteous friendly and professional manner with guests co-workers and all other persons.
• 2 years in a Poker Host role or similar relevant experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older. HS Diploma or its equivalent is required. AA or BA/BS is preferred.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gardena City Work permit.

Fast paced 24 Hour work environment
