Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide radiologic technology ultrasound services at a correctional facility in Greenville Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide ultrasound services for Adults in Custody (AIC) in a correctional setting to support inmate healthcare.

Requirements:
Current certification from an accredited radiology school to practice and perform general ultrasound vascular ultrasound and echocardiography in the U.S.
CPR certification (AHA)
Minimum one year of experience performing ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide general ultrasound vascular ultrasound and echocardiogram services including image taking processing and submitting interpretation reports.
Ensure all interpretations are performed by a board-certified radiologist and/or cardiologist.
Submit typed reports to the the facilitys Health Services Department.
Communicate abnormal results verbally to the Clinical Director upon receipt.
Receive patients explain procedures alleviate patient anxiety and document encounters using official consultation authorization forms.
Adhere to institutional and CDC safety protocols and patient care standards.
