JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Pennsylvania medical license required; IMLC accepted
Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
DEA: Active DEA required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: Prior inpatient gastroenterology experience preferred
Other Qualifications: Ability to move quickly through emergency credentialing
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 24-hour gastroenterology call coverage
Perform inpatient consults and manage acute GI conditions
Conduct emergent procedures as clinically indicated
Collaborate with anesthesia and hospital support teams
Document all patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
