Gastroenterologist

A well-established patient-centered healthcare organization in the Charleston South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its expanding health team.This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient care in a thriving coastal community known for its quality of life and medical innovation.

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD colonoscopy flexible sigmoidoscopy etc.)

Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases

Evaluate and treat conditions such as GERD IBD IBS hepatitis pancreatitis and colorectal disorders

Collaborate with colorectal surgery oncology primary care and hospitalist teams

Participate in shared call coverage

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR

Opportunities to engage in quality improvement initiatives and program development

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Eligible for South Carolina State medical licensure

Active or eligible DEA registration

Strong procedural and clinical skills

Commitment to patient-centered evidence-based care
