The ideal candidate should be focused on quality and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care Opportunity600 bed level I trauma and academic facilityJoin our innovative and aggressive abdominal transplant programGrowing program with 69 kidneys and 7 kidney/pancreases transplants in 2025Experience with high-risk donors is highly preferredExperience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery liver transplant and pediatric kidney transplant is a plusGeneral Surgery resident and medical student education on-siteFaculty appointment commensurate with experienceEpic EMRCompensation based on experienceQUALIFICATIONSDoctorate Degree in MedicineLicensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical BoardWhere Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
