Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is the nations leading voice on exercise and sports science. We govern and represent approximately 10000 degree-qualified accredited exercise professionals who support Australians to reach their health and performance goals.
At ESSA youll join a team dedicated to supporting our members and the communities they serve. Together youll have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and expertise to make a positive impact on the work of accredited exercise professionals.
About your role:
You will work with all ESSA business units to coordinate and deliver marketing activities to support ESSA events partnerships and advertisers and to grow the brand and awareness of our health professional members.
A few key responsibilities will include:
- Work with internal business units and the General Manager Marketing and Communications Manager to plan coordinate and deliver marketing activity for ESSA events.
- Develop and implement event marketing campaigns to promote ESSA webinars online learning face-to-face events and conferences.
- Provide marketing communications support for ESSA partnerships working closely with internal business units and external partners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the partnerships CRM.
- Coordinate agreed and ad hoc advertising placements across ESSA publications digital channels and events.
- Support the development and administration of partnerships and associated marketing activity in collaboration with relevant managers.
- Support the delivery of member marketing campaigns and communications across multiple channels.
- Contribute to campaign planning and decision-making by providing insights coordination and practical support.
- Write and coordinate content for key marketing activities including social media posts eDMs website newsletters videos and other member facing communications.
Your competitive edge will include:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing communications or related discipline
- Minimum three years professional experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Demonstrated experience managing monitoring and administering social media.
- Demonstrated experience promoting and marketing events.
- Strong time management project management and organisation skills
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
