Carpentry Apprentice (2nd, 3rd or 4th Year)

Whether youre currently completing your carpentry apprenticeship or looking to continue it with a new employer McNab has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd 3rd or 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our Toowoomba-based team.

Youll gain hands-on experience across a variety of commercial industrial and residential projects throughout Toowoomba and the surrounding South East Queensland region working alongside experienced tradespeople who are committed to quality safety and teamwork.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assisting and learning from qualified carpenters across all aspects of carpentry
• Steel and timber framing
• Formwork and concreting for slabs footings and walls
• Installation of cladding flooring and structural elements
• Commercial and residential fit outs
• Maintenance and defect work
• Learn to read and interpret plans and drawings
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Follow all site safety procedures
• Work effectively in a team and adapt to changing site environments

What Were Looking For:

• Currently a 2nd 3rd or 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
• Reliable punctual and team-oriented
• Committed to completing your trade qualification
• Construction White Card
• Valid drivers licence and reliable transport (travel within the region SEQ required)
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Banked Hours: Any hours worked beyond 38 in a week may be banked to take as paid leave or paid out later
• Paid Travel Time: For work on sites more than 40km from your base McNab office
