DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in accordance with The St. Regis brand standards. This role ensures the bar area is clean well-stocked and organized while delivering exceptional personalized service to create memorable experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities Beverage Preparation & Service- Prepare and serve drinks following specified recipes and measuring systems.
- Issue open and serve wine and champagne bottles professionally.
- Prepare fresh garnishes and maintain quality presentation for all beverages.
Bar Setup & Maintenance- Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar bar unit tables and tools.
- Stock ice glassware paper supplies and transport necessary items to the bar setup area.
- Wash and sanitize glassware and remove soiled wares from bar top and tables.
Inventory & Cash Handling- Monitor and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
- Process all payment methods accurately and efficiently.
- Count cash bank at end of shift complete cashier reports resolve discrepancies and secure receipts.
- Secure liquors beers wines coolers cabinets and storage areas.
- Complete all closing duties as assigned.
Guest Service Excellence- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to The St. Regis standards.
- Anticipate and address guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and ensure a luxury experience.
Compliance & Safety- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report accidents injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
Professional Standards- Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Foster positive working relationships and support team goals.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Move lift carry push and pull objects up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Perform tasks requiring bending twisting stooping and fine motor skills.
- Navigate narrow confined or elevated spaces and uneven surfaces.
Other Duties- Perform additional reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
