Role Overview
The Regional Landscape Manager is responsible for overseeing the design installation and maintenance of landscaping across multiple multi-family communities within the assigned region. This role ensures that all properties maintain high curb appeal comply with brand standards and deliver an exceptional resident experience through well-maintained outdoor spaces.
- Partner with investments property managers maintenance teams and regional leadership to align landscaping priorities with operational goals.
- Manage all landscaping operations across multiple properties including turf care irrigation drainage plant health and seasonal enhancements.
- Select negotiate and oversee third-party landscaping contractors.
- Ensure compliance with company standards local regulations and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor vendor performance budgets and adherence to service level agreements.
- Develop and manage regional landscaping budgets.
- Forecast seasonal needs and capital improvements for outdoor spaces.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscaping meets aesthetic and safety standards.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
- Provide training and guidance on landscaping best practices.
- Recommend water-efficient irrigation systems native plantings and eco-friendly solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends and integrate innovative landscaping techniques.
Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- Field-based role to include daily site visits and 25% - 40% overnight travel across multiple states including air travel
- 75% of outdoor work in varying weather conditions and various terrain
- 25% - office work for planning budgeting reporting and meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in landscape architecture Horticulture Environmental Science or related field (preferred).
- 7 years of experience in landscape management preferably in multi-family or commercial real estate.
- Extensive knowledge of plant care irrigation systems and regional climate considerations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in landscape management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
